The Women Of ‘The Keepers’ Are Absolutely Relentless—And Downright Heroic

I really loved The Keepers, and I know I’m not the only one. I got to share my love for the series for Decider, if you’d like to take a look!

Here’s an excerpt:

While the scandal surrounding Cesnik’s murder, Maskell’s extensive abuse, and the widespread problems with the Catholic church are certainly the main focus of The Keepers, it’s these four women — Hoskins, Schaub, Lancaster, and Wehner — who serve as the heart of the series. Their tireless efforts to find answers even in the face of repeated failures to secure them due to lack of cooperation of authorities, the government, and the Church only make them more inspiring empowering. Where many would have given up on a cold case that’s more than 40 years old, Hoskins, Schaub, Lancaster, and Whener have instead decided to push even harder, believing that while the person responsible for Cesnik’s death may never be found, at the very least they should be exposed for what they’ve done so that Sister Cathy’s memories may rest in peace.
